A venue specially dedicated to fencing !

The fencing hall is ideally located close to the city center and the river Oise. The National forest of Compiegne (12 000 ha), the 3^rd in France, is close by and will allow athletes to dive into physical and mental preparation along the marked paths or in the countryside.

This venue is one of the most admirable in the Hauts de France and was entirely restored in 2000 in  the old equestrian arena built in 1856.

This venue is adapted for parafencing practice for the 4 types of disability: motor, hearing, visual and mental impairments.

Fencing for athletes with a motor disability is achievable by the presence of specific equipment: two "handifix" type systems that can be placed on the same track.

In addition, a team sports hall, a boxing hall, a climbing wall and a dojo complete the set for a total preparation of athletes.

• 12 metal tracks equipped with competition displays including stopwatch and score, visible to each fencer

• 8 mobile displays, meeting International standards, can be placed in the center of the fencing track

• All equipments are to the standards of the International Fencing Federation, the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee
