The bassin des Muids is ideally located in a green setting at the entrance of the town of Choisy-au-bac (3 500 inhabitants), that offers many services.

This lake, to be delivered in 2023, is at the edge of the national forest of Compiegne (12 000 ha).

Several training paths and closed biking paths connect the Bassin des Muids to the forest and especially to the athletics stadium Petitpoisson in Compiegne, which is also a pre-games training centre. The tracks, the throwing and jumping zones were all renovated in 2022 and in compliance with the requirements from the IAAF. There is also a covered facility under the stands with a synthetic track of 60 m.

An administrative space can be found in the centre, which can be completely privatized.

A brand new and fully equipped weights room complete these services offered to athletes.

These equipment favour excellent and optimal training conditions.
