With its 37 pre-games training camps and representing 39 Olympic sporting disciplines, including 14 Paralympic sports, the Oise department is in the starting blocks to experience the great adventure of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In order to offer you the optimum training conditions, with sports equipment meeting the technical standards of your disciplines, and to welcome you in the best way possible, the whole community is coming together with the Conseil Départemental de l’Oise.

Our area has everything you are looking for. With its ideal geographical location as a crossroads of Europe, just north of Paris, the Oise department has managed to mix the French way of life and modernity.

Our department enjoys the close proximity of Paris with the A15, A16 and A1 highways or its train network, which emphasize its strategic position. The area is also home to two international airports : Roissy Charles–de-Gaulle and Paris-Beauvais.

With its rich historical heritage, its several international renowned castles and many important leisure sites close by ; the department carries on the tradition of welcoming visitors from all around the
world. A protected and wooded environment completes the backdrop.

Two highways, A1 and A16, cross the Oise area. You will only need 1 hour on average to reach the Olympic village or the competition locations. There is also an airport serving more than 70 destinations. The Paris-Beauvais airport is a human-size terminal offering an easy and quick connection to all the pregames training centres. The transportation services including a large railway network connect the 5 860 km2 of the area. You will be able to reach Paris in particular with the train stations of Beauvais, Chantilly, Chambly, Compiègne or Creil.

Your athletes will be able to train calmly, in a peaceful and green environment just a stone’s throw away from Paris.

Well yes, escape! So close to Paris (only 35 kilometres to the north!), all you have to do is reach the Oise to free your eyes, relax your body and lighten your mind...
